8/26 TEAM MEETING AND PARENT MEETING
MONDAY, AUG. 30TH @ 5:30PM
This meeting mandatory for all advanced skaters and their parents and strongly recommended for ALL other parents and skaters. We will go over the entire 2004-2005 inline racing season.

 

8/23 St. Paul Marathon Results
Deanna Hudson made an impressive marathon debut taking 3rd in her age group. (30-35) in a time of 1 hr 55 min.

Dan O'Neill finished the very challenging course in 1 hr 53 min in his first distance skate since the entertaining crash a month ago.

8/18 OFFICIAL NEWS FROM NICOLE!

TEAM MEETING AND PARENT MEETING

This meeting mandatory for all advanced skaters and their parents and strongly recommended for ALL other parents and skaters. We will go over the entire 2004-2005 inline racing season.

USA/RS money ($35) is due by Sept. 15th. 
This is a mandatory annual fee. Skaters that are not registered by Sept. 15th will not be permitted to skate.

T-shirt order forms and money are due by Sept. 15th.
We will use the same design as last year.  Shirts are only ordered once a year.

We are in the first step of uniform ordering. 
If you need a uniform please write your name in on the “uniform” list. Uniforms are $95 and are only ordered once a year.  All advanced skaters need one and most of the beginners will need one as well. See Nicole for more info.  We are accepting money for uniforms now.

Southern Speed Club Window Stickers
are here. They will be $7.00 each and we will use this as a Regional Team FUNd Raiser.  They are available at the rink.

8/18 NEW &  UPDATED SKATER BIOS FOR THE WEB SITE
Spooner will be organizing new photos for the web site and new or updated Skater Bios.  See Spooner for info. on either of these.
The new and updated Bios will all be posted at the same time when a more finalized roster is completed.  In other words - in a few weeks.

 

8/11 THE BUSY TIME OF THE SEASON IS HERE!!!!!

* In the next few weeks Nicole will be taking orders for T-Shirts, and Uniforms ($95.00).  She will have the forms at the rink.

 * The annual $35.00 USARS fee is due.  If you have already registered with USARS make out your check to USARS and sign the list.  If you have never registered with USARS you need to fill out a form Nicole will have all of this information.

* Spooner will be organizing new photos for the web site and new or updated Skater Bios.  See Spooner for info. on either of these.

* Outdoor practice will begin Sat. Aug. 21 at Southwood.  If you have not filled out and signed a release form get one from Spooner or Nicole and get it turned in by the 21st.

* Window stickers will be available sometime next week.  See J.J. or Nicole.

 

8/10 REMINDER
Monday and Wednesday night advanced practice remember to bring athletic shoes for land drills!
            (not too much fun in bare feet!)

 

8/10 THIS FRIDAY - AUGUST 13 11:00pm - 7:00am BACK-TO-SCHOOL ALL NIGHT SKATE
 Parents and older skaters need to sign up at the rink to work a shift.  Earn your points for Nationals 2005!

 

8/10 TV CHANNEL 6 WCTV
 Will air the article on the team next Wed. Aug. 18th @ 5:23pm  We will have it on the big screen at the rink!

WEAR YOUR UNIFORM TO PRACTICE TONIGHT
Monday Aug. 9th

A local TV news channel is going to do an article on the team.  Also Spooner will be taking pictures for the 2004/2005 season web site updates!
If you have anything you want to sell bring it so Spooner can take a picture of it for the "For Sale" page on the site.
