2004 Nationals!
Day 3  -  4-Person Relays

SSC had 2 teams:

Juvenile 4-person (Cameron, Marlin, Mary, & Leif)
Freshman 4-boy (LeRon, Justin, Corey, & B.J.)

Cameron, Marlin, Mary, & Leif - in the heat Cameron got 3rd off the start, Marlin got passed by on person and held on to 4th, Mary kept them close and Leif passed up into second. The made it to the final, but did not place.

LeRon, Justin, Corey, & B.J.- For the heat, Coach Lee switched up the order. Instead of having B.J. go last he had B.J. go third to catch us back up. B.J. passed from 5th to 2nd and Corey skated so fast and kept them in 2nd. They qualified for the final. Lee was so impressed with all four boys, they skated awesome. Due to a very bad decision from a ref, the race had to be re-run. Our boys skated great but did not make it out. Coach Lee said that he had never seen Corey FLY as fast as he did in this re-run. Corey fell. This race should have never been re-run. Lee says that in his heart he knows that these four boys would have pulled out a National placement. Corey, B.J., LeRon, and Justin...we are proud of you.
