GT Speed
and Southern Speed Club are hosting a
LEVEL ONE OUTDOOR CLINIC.
|
| These
clinics serve as qualifying clinics for Outdoor Nationals,
just as the banked track clinics do. If a skater has a
qualifying time, they can go to Outdoor Nationals.
These clinics are meant to be held locally making them much
more accessible and less expensive than traveling to
Colorado or to Palm Beach, Florida. There are two
parts to the Level One clinics. The first part is 10
hours of outdoor training (this one will be in Tallahassee)
and the second part is 2 hours on the track in
Colorado. Part two will be held the 1st morning of
Outdoor Nationals. |

We will be running on a very
tight schedule and must stress that all skaters need
to be at Skate World promptly at 7:15.

Southern Speed Club has made arrangements for
us to us hold the clinic at a State facility parking
lot. This is where SSC holds there outdoor
practices.

Lunch
Southern Speed Club will be providing
lunch. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, lots
of fruit, chips, water, and PowerAide. There will
be no charge for lunch. If you feel like
donating a couple of bucks.....go for it! As we
are pressed for time (trying to get everything in - in
the 1 day), lunch will be 30 minutes. Which is why we are
shmoozzing up to you and providing you lunch.

| In
case of rainy, wet, bad road condition weather, we will have
to cancel the Level One Clinic. Please keep an eye on the
weather before you head this way. |

This facility does not have bathrooms. BUT!, Southern Speed
Club and GT Speed have the nicest parents in the world. They
will shuttle
skaters back and forth as needed to a nearby gas station for
potty breaks.
