Lee Bisping
Coach Lee started skating when he was __ years old and started competing on quad speed skates with wooden wheels back when he was __ years old.  (We have tried to get Lee to tell us how long he has been doing this and he is having fun keeping it a mystery! But please note that he has been skating and competing since the wheels were made out of wood! Now that is a LONG time!)  He has been coaching speed skating in Tallahassee for 20 years now.  Over those 20 years he has coached a couple hundred of Tallahassee’s youth. He has had many of his skaters place at the Regional and National levels and even one that has competed at the World/International level.  Speed skating has taken him all over our great country and even to France. He even has a couple of skaters that still hold a National record time.  He is passionate about this sport and loves watching his skaters achieve their goals.  He feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some very talented skaters and is the first one to point out that ALL credit for his skaters accomplishments go to each individual skater.

Coach Nicole loves working with the brand new skaters. She has been working along side her husband, Lee for 5 years.   She is convinced that the best way to teach little ones (and she even considers her adult skaters her “little ones”) is through repetition, praise, praise, and more praise.  She loves preparing her skaters for their 1st competition by helping them to set their 1st speed skating goal.  A goal may be as simple as looking up while skating.  For some, this might be their first goal setting experience. She feels it’s important that the goal be their own (not hers or Mom’s or Dad’s), the goal must be achievable, and that a reward should be given once they’ve reached it.  She loves to see their faces once they have crossed the finish line knowing that they have done it and whether they have finished first or last…..they know that they can set a goal and achieve it.  Nothing beats that!
"Anything worth achieving is worth working for!"
