Introduction:
Speed skating is different for everybody. Some do it because
it’s great exercise and it will get your body in shape. Others
do it because they enjoy competition and racing.
We have all levels of competition. You can compete at the local
level for recognition, trophies and medals. As you progress, you
can compete at the Regional, National and even World Levels! Skate
World has a number of Regional and National Champions.

Enrollment All Year Long.

* Current members are aged 4 to 54.
* Parents of Speed Team members can join for half price.

What
You'll Learn:
We teach you to go fast by first teaching the
proper form and technique used in speed skating. You will also
learn cornering, passing, starts and relays.
Cost is $50.00 a month. Feel free to try us out first -One free
practice to first time speed skaters.

You Need:
You! - Any
age or skill level.
Skates! – Any type will do: quads, roller blades or in-lines.
Helmet! – You MUST have a helmet to practice
A desire to learn!

Beginner Speed
-- Tuesday & Thursday 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Advanced /
Elite Speed --
Monday & Wednesday 6:00pm to 8:00pm Outdoor
Speed -- (on
hold for Nationals - to resume again soon!)
Saturdays
10:00pm to 12:00pm
Southwood
Office Complex. Meet in the parking lot to the left of
the TCC entrance off Capital Circle SE. You must bring
enough water for a two hour practice!
** MANDATORY for Advanced team skaters! If you can't make it
let one of the coaches know. ** |
